Stylists first attend Great Clips University which is a 3 day training, where new stylists are trained on the Great Clips brand and the 5-step Customer Connection.
Once they’ve completed their 3 day course they begin in-salon training.

Great Clips utilizes “Clip Notes”.
Clip notes is a program that allows stylists to create a customer’s profile to include info on the haircut such as: style or type of haircut, clipper guards (if used), and the amount of the length taken off, length of hair, shape of haircut, layers, texturizing, and more. This allows any of the professional stylists in any Great Clips salon to ensure the same quality haircut every time.
Great Clips is a walk-in center where they complete haircuts in 12-17 minutes, therefore there is less or no wait time. They greet the customer when they walk through their doors and you feel comfortable and relaxed with the experience they provide.
